Royal hermit crab sponges
After harvest, our sponges are processed and cleaned but not bleached. This results in a slightly darker color than compared to bleached sponges. A safer way to drink water: Sponges provide easy access to water dishes and help reduce accidental drowning. Nutrient Source: Hermit crabs like to consume sponges. Nutrients like chitin and minerals contained in them are beneficial for the exoskeleton health and longevity of hermit crabs. Maintains Tank Humidity: Absorption sponges and their ability to hold a lot of water help maintain humidity within the aquarium habitat.
